In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, this city of London, Ontario, had multiple serial killers in their midst. Three identified-Gerald Thomas Archer known has the London Chambermaid Slayer because he killed female hotel employees. Russell Johnson who scaled balconies to reach his victims of choice—once even climbed 13 stories. Christian Magee, known as the “mad slasher,” killed three victims.
But based on the amount of unsolved young women cases from that time period, there is probably at least one more.

Jackie English:
15-year-old Jackie English was abducted on her way home from her waitressing job at the Metropolitan on October 4, 1969. The restaurant was located in the Treasure Island Mall. She went outside to wait for the bus. According to a witness Jackie got into a car instead of getting on the bus. It was the last time Jackie was seen alive.

Five days later, in a rural area about 45 minutes from where Jackie was last seen, her body was discovered in a creek. She was nude. There were signs of sexual assault—two semen samples actually. One internally, the other on her underwear. Her clothes were found strewn along the highway a few days later.

Her cause of death was blunt force trauma most likely from a crowbar or hammer.

Jackie kept a detailed diary they may hold clues. She wrote part of the diary in code. But tucked away in the pages was a picture of an unknown man. Below is that picture. We are looking for anyone who may know who he is.
Jacqueline Dunleavy:
On January 9, 1968 16-year-old Jackie Dunleavy finished her shift at the local variety store in London, Ontario. She walked two blocks to the bus stop not having her own transportation just like Jackie English. One witness claimed to see her get inside a white four door sedan.

Her parents knew something was wrong within 30 minutes. Her father was a constable and they began the search. Less than two hours after Dunleavy disappeared three teenagers discovered her body at 8:10 PM near the Children’s Psychiatric Hospital.

She had been beaten in the head—not sure with what. Her scarf was also tied around her neck. She was partially clothed with her genitals exposed. She had pink facial tissue stuffed in her mouth.

Lynda White:
19-year-old Lynda disappeared after her French exam at Western University in London, Ontario, on November 14, 1968. Her remains weren’t found until June 1972. Lynda’s left arm was missing from her elbow down. According to outside investigators this removal wasn’t due to animal scavenging but was intentional.

Soraya O’Connell:
15-year-old Soraya O’Connell went missing after attending a youth drop-in on August 14, 1970. She had told her friends she was going to hitchhike home. But her remains wouldn’t be found until 1974. Because of the state of her remains little is known about how she died or if she was assaulted.

We very much want to help Jackie English’s family to find justice. The mystery man photo above may help. But there are other families hoping for the same result. If you have any information about Jackie Dunleavy, Soraya O’Connell, or Lynda White, please contact us.
There is also a possibility that this killer or killers may have killed others. Remember the M.O.-blunt force trauma, sexual assault, harassing the families, possible body parts taken. If you come across any cases like this near London, Ontario, or even two hours southwest in Detroit, Michigan and anywhere in between, please contact us.

1. Do not name names publicly. Send everything to the police or to this page and we will forward to the police.
2. Do not post side by side photos.
3. Do not contact any family members.
4. Do not doxx each other and be civil. We all want to the same thing.

As tips come in, Jensen and Holes will work to verify them. If they look good, we will publish them here to try and get us closer to their names.
