In July of 2013, 17-year-old Molly Miller and Colt Haynes vanished after a car chase in Love County, Oklahoma.

On the night of July 7th, Molly and Colt attended a house party. At some point during the night, Molly and Colt ended up in a 2012 Honda Accord with James "Conn" Nipp. Nipp was known for starting car chases, which is what he did that night.

The car chase began in Carter County, Oklahoma. But Nipp crossed county lines into Love County where his cousin Joe Russell was the sheriff. Russell called off the chase and the three young adults disappeared down Long Hollow Road.

Around 12:45 AM on July 8th, Colt and Molly started calling for help. Molly tried to reach 911 but the call dropped. Colt managed to reach friends who went to search for him. Once his friends made it to Long Hollow Road, they found Conn Nipp but no sign of Colt and Molly.

Since those early morning hours, no one has seen or heard from Molly Miller or Colt Haynes.

Since Molly and Colt Disappeared:
In January of 2014, Conn Nipp was arrested for multiple charges including eluding police during the car chase and another car chase. He was sentenced to ten years in prison. He served roughly four years and was released in March of 2018.

Sheriff Joe Russell was arrested due to an FBI investigation in July 2016 on charges of corruption in office, willful neglect of duty and maladministration. In March of 2017, Russell accepted a plea deal for willful omission to perform duty. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced a year of probation and had to pay court costs of $300.

When Colt Haynes disappeared he was 5'11" and between 180 to 190 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos: including a .45 Colt on his abdomen, and a banner on his chest that said “Ride or Die.” If you have any information, please the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations or contact us.
