Neal Falls was killed by Heather Saul on July 18, 2015, in Charleston, West Virginia. Falls had made arrangements to meet with her through the website Backpage. Upon arriving, he immediately asked Heather if she wanted to "live or die."

After the two struggled for some time, Heather was able to get Falls' gun. She shot him and saved her own life as well as possibly many others.

When law enforcement arrived on the scene, they searched Neal Falls' Subaru Forester and found a kill kit. Inside his car were axes, machete, knives, a shovel and sledgehammer, bleach, plastic trash bags, and bulletproof vests. The car also had a tub or container that was large enough to fit a body inside.

On his person, Falls had four separate pairs of handcuffs, a post-it with a list of six other women and a gun. Police were able to track down the women on Falls' list--all were safe.

All of the evidence found on Neal Falls and in his vehicle, led Charleston Police Department to believe a possible serial killer had been stopped. CPD called Heather Saul a "hero," rightfully so.

Possible Victims:

Misty Marie Saens-
Misty was a 25 year old sex worker in Las Vegas when she went missing in March 2003. Her torso was recovered on March 6, 2003, off State Route 159. It was found in black plastic bags and bed sheets. The torso was not identified as belonging to Misty through DNA for two years.

Jodi Brewer-
Jodi was 19 years old when she went missing on August 14th, 2003. She was a sex worker in Las Vegas who had dreams of opening up her own beauty salon someday. The last time Jodi was seen alive was at the Harbor Island Club apartments on East Harmon Ave. A witness reported they saw Jodi get into a white car with California tags.

Jodi's torso was discovered in San Bernardino, California, on August 29th, 2003. It was wrapped in a tarp, 25 miles south of the Nevada-California border. Her remains were identified by her tattoos.
Lindsay Marie Harris-
Lindsay was 21 years old when she vanished from the Las Vegas area in May of 2005. She was originally from New York but had moved to Nevada. Lindsay left her boyfriend a message on May 6th when she was walking to the Luxor casino. She was last seen alive walking north on Las Vegas Boulevard between 4 and 5 AM.

On May 21, 2005, legs belonging to Lindsay were found discovered in Illinois. The legs didn't have any signs of decomposition--the nails were still painted and Lindsay's tattoos were still intact. Three years after the legs were discovered, DNA matched them to Lindsay. The rest of her remains have not been recovered.

Jessie Foster-
Jessie was 21 years old when she went missing from Las Vegas in March 2006. She had left her home in Canada in April of 2005. After a short visit to New Jersey, she ended up in Las Vegas. Her family believes she has been sex trafficked.

Jessie's family last spoke to her on March 28th, 2006. Her estranged boyfriend reported on April 3rd that she had left the apartment. She has not been seen since. There has been no activity on social media, credit cards or her bank account.

When she went missing, she was 5'6" and 120 pounds. She had blonde hair and hazel eyes. Her left nostril and right eyebrow are pierced. Her left ear has two piercings, and her right ear has three piercings. For more information on her disappearance, please visit The Charley Project.

ASSIGNMENT:
We've included information on the four Las Vegas cases above, but there could be many other possible victims. We know he worked at the Hoover Dam during the time of the four Las Vegas cases, but he spent last year and a half of his life driving around the country.

Neal Falls did not have a violent criminal history, but he had contact with several law enforcement agencies throughout the years. The states in which these contacts were made are: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and West Virginia.

He may have had victims in any of these states as well as others. Please search the Charley Project, NamUs, The Doe Project and other databases for possible matches. If you have any information, please contact us.
